I am investing since ~2000 (aka throw away money for mutual funds), trade actively since ~2007 and tried a lot of strategies (aka was part of the big zero sum game). Around 2015 I started to embrace Trend Following at first, later extending that to systematic trading as a broader concept and here I am. In 2016 I made the decision to start programming my own trading system software, the gods only know why. Over time it kept evolving, grew bigger and better and proved to be somewhat useful. My motto (if I ever would need one) could be: "Always learning, often trying, sometimes succeeding. Every step a progress (even if I trip)."
